$8,000,000 acquisition of iconic mixed-use office/retail building + Prospect Street, downtown La Jolla, CA (the Rodeo Drive of San Diego)

November 1, 2020 - Karvelis, APC represented a long term client (owner-occupier) in realizing their goal of acquiring an iconic office building with sweeping ocean views located on Prospect Street in downtown La Jolla. No brokers were involved in the transaction. Due to the off market nature of the transaction, Peter ran lead for his client all phases of the transaction, including, LOI, Purchase-Sale Agreement, due diligence investigation and financing. Peter’s investigation coordination efforts which were aided by multiple consultants in his network resulted in a significant price reduction during escrow. Peter will provide ongoing legal services for all tenant leasing matters.
